Russian House Oman is a cultural and educational bridge operating in partnership with Rossotrudnichestvo, Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation. It represents Russia’s cultural, educational, and humanitarian presence in the Sultanate of Oman, serving as a platform for dialogue, exchange, and long-term cooperation between our countries.

Anna Popova
Founder and Head of Russian House Oman

As the Head of Russian House Oman, Anna also leads cultural, educational, and business initiatives that strengthen dialogue and cooperation between Russia and Oman. Through this platform, she builds sustainable partnerships, supports bilateral business relations, and promotes educational and cultural exchange between the two countries.

Anna Popova is a marketing expert with over 20 years of international experience and the founder of Russian House Oman. Her career began before the digital era, evolving alongside the marketing industry itself — from pioneering campaigns and media projects to public speaking, business councils, and large-scale events across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.

Today, based in Oman, Anna focuses on helping businesses grow through tailored marketing strategies and the development of effective B2B sales channels. She works closely with entrepreneurs, corporations, and public institutions, offering clarity, honesty, and long-term solutions grounded in global best practices and deep market understanding.

Russia–Oman Relations

Russia and the Sultanate of Oman share a long-standing relationship built on mutual respect, constructive dialogue, and expanding cooperation. In 2025, the two countries marked 40 years of diplomatic relations, reflecting four decades of steadily developing political, cultural, educational, and humanitarian ties.

Bilateral relations have been further strengthened through high-level exchanges, most notably the official State Visit of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the Russian Federation on 21–22 April 2025. The visit marked an important milestone in Russian–Omani relations and resulted in the deepening of political dialogue, as well as the expansion of cooperation in key areas including culture, education, trade, and humanitarian exchange. The outcomes of the visit reaffirmed the commitment of both countries to building a long-term, forward-looking partnership.

Educational and people-to-people ties have also played a significant role in strengthening bilateral relations. Since the Soviet era, Omani students have pursued higher education in Russia, forming a solid foundation of personal, academic, and professional connections that continue to contribute to mutual understanding and cooperation between the two nations.
