Russia–Oman Relations
Russia and the Sultanate of Oman share a long-standing relationship based on mutual respect and constructive dialogue. In 2025, the two countries marked 40 years of diplomatic relations and an important new milestone with the State Visit of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the Russian Federation.
Cooperation continues to expand across culture, education, trade and humanitarian exchange. Long-standing educational and people-to-people ties have also played an important role in strengthening connections between the two countries.

Spring Festival Maslenitsa 2027
The 4th Spring Festival Maslenitsa will take place in March 2027.
The annual Russian-Omani festival brings together culture, tourism, business and community initiatives, creating opportunities for collaboration and exchange between Russia and Oman.
Following the success of the 2026 edition, which welcomed 46,000+ visitors, the festival will return in 2027 with an expanded programme and new partnership opportunities.
